Brasserie Vivien is a vibrant French bistro in the heart of Riga, where classic hospitality meets contemporary rhythm. We’re looking for a charismatic, highly organized Maître d’hôtel to lead the front-of-house team, orchestrate a smooth guest experience, and embody the spirit of our house with elegance and precision.
💼 Your responsibilities:
- Represent the brasserie with presence, warmth, and professionalism
- Manage reservations and floor planning (indoor dining room and outdoor courtyard)
- Greet and seat guests with flair, attention to detail, and anticipation of needs
- Supervise the front-of-house team: briefings, appearance, discipline, guest service
- Resolve service issues gracefully and ensure seamless communication with the kitchen
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, order, and ambiance throughout service
- Assist in VIP guest handling, private events, and daily sales reporting
✅ What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in hospitality or fine dining (3+ years preferred)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Confidence and charm in communication, both with guests and staff
- Fluency in Latvian, English, and Russian; French is a strong plus
- Knowledge of reservation systems, POS tools, and service protocols
- Impeccable personal presentation and time management
